Our founder, Aleksey Bashtavenko, has been in the business since 2009 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy. With a Master’s Degree in sociology and history, Keith brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. He’s also an ABD historian, which means he’s completed all the requirements for a PhD except for his dissertation.

Meet Florian Ulrich, our resident technical specialist! Florian joined our team a year after Keith Preston, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on board.

Born and raised in Germany, Florian fell in love with the American way of life as a teenager. After earning his PhD in biology from the University of Dresden, he landed a prestigious Post-Doctorate fellowship at the University of Princeton. But despite his impressive academic achievements, Florian soon found himself disillusioned with the world of academia.

He tried his hand at sales but quickly realized that it wasn’t his calling. That’s when he discovered Academic Composition and everything fell into place. Florian’s background in science and mathematics makes him a technical wizard. From computer programming to chemistry, engineering to actuarial science, and even differential equations – you name it, Florian can handle it.

His dissertation was focused on genetic science, so he’s particularly skilled in that area. But really, anything related to STEM is Florian’s forte.

We’re lucky to have such a versatile and talented specialist on our team, and we know you’ll love working with him as much as we do!
